Eastbourne Exteme!

The Animal Relentless Bike Tour sponsored by Diamondback was busy again with packed shows at Eastbourne this weekend. Team Ashton Diamondback riders Blake Samson and Martyn Ashton took on the riding duties. The weather was warm but an ongoing battle with the wind was the story of the day on Saturday - Sunday however brought clear sky and the wind strength dropped.
"Eastbourne is always a great stop for us because the crowd is always so supportive and enjoy the riding. The weather is always the issue here, due to the exposed location but we had all the luck this weekend so it was great."

Diamondback's sponsorship of the 2010 Tour has added a great element to the dates. Every event the Bike Tour visits the crew are giving away a Diamondback bike and the lucky winner at Eastbourne was made up with the prize awarded by Team Ashton Diamondback rider Blake Samson.

Alongside all the action at Eastbourne the Bike Tour crew got the Pro-Zone running on Sunday. The Pro-Zone is a simple course that we have made for spectators to come in and try if they want. There was plenty of interested participants at Eastbourne but the ride of the day came from our very own 'pin-up' Mel Dowding who demonstrated that she's been paying attention whilst working on the Bike tour.
"The Pro-Zone is a great opportunity for us to get the people who are excited about the show actually on to a bike and learning new skills."
