Sam Pilgrim battles for the World Title!

Team Ashton Diamondback rider Sam Pilgrim is travelling to 'Big in Bavaria' this week with a realistic chance of reclaiming the lead in the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour.
After a confident winning ride at the 'Silver' Bikeradar Live event a week ago Sam had the lead. However the Canadian rider, Brandon Semunuk won the Claymore 'Gold' event over the weekend and grabbed the lead from our battling Brit.
"I'm going to 'Big in Bavaria' with a real chance of taking the lead back and putting pressure on the other riders to perform in the final events. I need a great result because this is another Gold event so a win could bag me 750 points - Brandon only leads me by 40 right now - it's real close. I'm just going to enjoy my riding and if I land my tricks I'm in with a shout."

"I watched Sam at Bikeradar Live and saw a Pro rider dealing with pressure. He has all the moves to pull this off and he wants it bad. I'm so stoked he's got himself into the position because Sam works so hard to improve all the time. Nothing will be decided this weekend but it could be a big step towards a World title for Sam if he claims the win at Big in Bavaria."
